I am DEFINITELY in if we can get a better price on the GPS. I'm buying it either way in the next few weeks, but if we can save some loot heck yeah!Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

I'd get PerfectPass either way, don't get me wrong. I see your point about not drilling holes, it would save you beer on the install
Besides, he was asking about a non-throttle by wire system, so why wait (of course, you are in Wisconsin so you're probably not getting into the water until late June anyway).Cursed by a fortune cookie: "Your principles mean more to you than any money or success."

The regular Perfect Pass systems are designed for the cable driven throttle sytems.
Whereas newer engines are controlled by the ECM via a wire, no mechanical cables needed. Therefore the perfect pass system does not work on T-B-W systems.
From what I understand the new GPS version should be compatible with the T-B-W system. But I dont understand how. Becuase the GPS doesnt change how it operates the engine just the method of measuring speed.
