Man I dread the day my daughter is that age because I was that "boy".

I have trained my daughters since they were little how to handle themselves.

I actually would get on my knees, and show them how to kick hard in the nuts and punch straight for the nose. I told them if a boy EVER touches them in a place they shouldn't, don't ask, don't hesitate, don't discern if it was an accident. Just either put their nuts in their stomach, or hit them as hard as you can with a fist directly on the nose. And I showed them how to punch and kick.

When my daughter was about 6 she was in the church child care and they pulled me out of the service. They took me in a room with a boy her age holding tissue up to his nose, bleeding. The lady said we needed to discuss my daughter fighting. I asked her what happened. She said he pinched her butt, she turned and clocked him. I asked the boy if he pinched her butt. He said yes. I told the lady, you are going to have to punish me. She did exactly what I told her to do, and that is exactly what I want her to do again. The lady was kind of stunned. Word got around the church, and about 10 other dads came to me and asked me how to teach their girls the same way.

Now that is funny. Not shocked either.

Hence why I have 5 BOYS!!!!!!!!! Well two are mine and the other three are the GF's but still. 5 BOYS!!!!!!

I have trained my two boys that they have no rights or business touching, speaking of or even looking at a girl in wrong ways. Such as staring or making comments. They know if I catch them doing so look out they will be in big trouble. Of course I let them be boys but not out of control hormonal boys. I have taught them to have some manners and respect. Even when they get married they have to maintain that respect. I have tried to teach them that by example.

If they don't I hope the girls are trained like Ragboys and clock them one so they will bring it back in check.

I have always been pretty respectful, my mom trained me well. But I am still a guy. However, its amazing how you change when you have daughters that grow up and you see guys ogling them. Maybe if I grew up with sisters, I only had one brother, don't know.

I definately hear what you are saying. Its amazing what having a daughter does to your perspective!!

I have two boys so I try to imagine I have a daughter and raise my boys to treat other peoples daughters as I would want my daughter treated if I were in that position. Dogbert and I went to a place in TX. for dinner and I was thinking ok, I don't ever want my daughter if I have one working here. Food was great though.
