No, can't beat $30k. I wish I could but then everyone and their brother would be knocking on my door to purchase it.

What is the integrity of the vinyl? That is what I would be concerned about.

Only way I'd be able to test the vinyl would be with a butt test. Unfortunately being 12 hours away hinders that for me.

Maybe another Tige owner could swing by and see how brittle it is beginning to get.

Notice it says the largest BOAT Dealer in the world. Not Tige's largest dealer . Not that it matters, but I don't know anymore.... that was just what Mark, the regional rep at Tige told me a while back. That between their two stores they are Tige's #1 dealer in terms of sales. But maybe that changed last year.

I have the same boat: year, model, color and graphics (which are great!) But my tower is a stock Metcraft tower. The only problem I had with the boat was that I had to have the tower gussets rewelded and reinforced to support the board racks.

I bought the boat Jan 07 from Stateamind in St Louis. As part of the sale, they recovered the 2 corner seat cushions / step stools, polished the hull, etc. No problems other than the tower. 'love the boat!

I bought my new boat from them. All I'll say is I wasn't very impressed (I'll leave it at that because others might like the dealership) Dealt with them from out of state and they weren't honest with me about the boat. Ryan is a talker and tries to make it sound like he's doing all he can to give you the best deal on earth. However I'm very happy with the Tige. Should've gone with Stateamind Watersports.

I guess I will resond. I would be very careful as well buying a boat from Skier's Wharf. They are great on the "sale" part of the boat buying experience, but after that boat is delivered, good luck getting anything done. We were promised that it would be ok buying a boat without a trailer because it was at Lake of the Ozarks and when it needed service they would come pick it up....yeah right. It took multiple calls, dealing with Andrew at Tige and they finally got to it, about 8 months later....

Ryan Didier is a nicer guy, but we ended up selling the boat we bought from Skiers Wharf. We gave Ryan a chance to price one out for us (however he was still affiliated with Skier's Wharf at the time) and I had met Joel at Stateamind becuase I was living in St. Louis. Stateamind sold us the boat for $12K less than what Ryan quoted us. Again, that was when Ryan was Skiers Wharf and not Just Ride so it may be a totally different story now!

I am not bashing Ryan Didier in this post....I think he is a good guy and am glad he distances himself from Skier's Wharf Extreme.

Thanks for all the comments guys. If anyone else has any info, please post up. I like the real experience stories.

I think you could substitute any dealer/realtor/salesman in there and have that hold true. I understand they have to lowball a trade (even one as old as mine) but at least come off the asking price a little. I don't feel like the numbers on what they are asking is a good market price yet. It bid over 7k less than what they are asking on ebay. I use ebay as a pretty good judge of the market on boats, albeit at times a little low. Right now a 6 year old used boat isn't going to catch an asking price like that, especially if you are throwing an "OK" buyout for mine. The boat isn't perfect by any means. I would much rather a different tower, but I do like the Monster. There is NO audio other than a Clarion on 4 smoked out coaxials, 450hours, no bimini, no board racks, tower mirror, and no perfect pass; basically no options at all, but it is being priced like it has them. There is a new trailer under it which is a plus, but I would rather have mine when it is all said and done, although I would need another to sell mine, so I guess I'm stuck on that deal. I guess I could strip my boat and carry it up there. My racks, bimini, mirror mounts, an amp, tower audio.....basically just leave a head unit and the 4 comps in mine on a single amp and a single battery.

If they come down some more, I'll see what happens. I've got time, and I don't think they have as much as me. Boats are NOT moving, new used, or any type for that matter. NADA (which I KNOW isn't used for boat values in the industry, but I can't look up ABOS) lists this model between 23k-30k. We all know how bloated NADA is on boats. I wish I could look up the ABOS value to get a better idea. I am thinking this boat should go for around 26500-27900 from a dealer. It's a shame I live so far away because I know if I went in, this is a deal I feel I could work.

The dealership and the brand would get tons of exposure from me online anyway, especially if I can ever devote a little more time in to wrapping up some of the things I have been working on.

the saleman is ryan werner, and i don't know the problems that anyone else had and who they delt with... but in the past the problems were with Jake, and he is no longer there. Ryan and the guys have been great, they have been responsive to any and all concerns/questions my wife or i have had being first time boat owners. they even came over when my wife was having problems taking the boat out with her friends for the first time and re-explained everything to them. i told spharis that i would stop by and look at the vinyl and let him know how it is... i have no problems recommending ryan as a salesman or skiers wharf as a dealer if you are looking for a boat... as for akdoc i have had no problems getting ryan or any other member of skiers wharf to come over to service the boat or just check things out... they usually are there days befor they say they can be and seem to go out of there way to make sure things are done right and done as quickly as possible... all in all with the attention that i have recieved i will always buy a boat or recommend others to buy their boat from ryan and skiers wharf

I haven't heard or read anything that would keep me from buying there so far. Service after the sale is pretty much going to be non-existent for me anyway. I just want to get the best deal possible on a little newer rig.

trudelle has been a sport by offering what info he has already. Ryan has also been pretty upfront thus far with any questions that I have had. I just want them to come off that sticker a little more. I think it is a little much for a boat they threw an M2 and some rider's graphics on. I've got Malibu of New Orleans dying to put me in a bu (and offering more for my pig), and MC in BR has some killer deals too, just a little out of the price range I want, but I feel either would be a better deal than what is being offered. Now if the price was about 26900.....I'd be driving up cash in hand.

In CA I just saw an add for an 05 22V with 22 hours for 30k. Not sure of the history of the boat.
                              Let it be!!!

I've seen them priced around that (usually a little more), too.

                                Do you have a link?
