Anyone know Ryan @ Skier's Wharf in MO

Skier's Wharf in Osage Beach MO
    ????
Trying to hook up a deal on a 22V. Hoping to trade in my goat and want to get the most out of it, which will likely be waaaay less than a private sell but without the headaches. Wondering if someone could throw a bone over there about my boat and if anyone knows the history of the '03 22V they have on the lot. Says the previous owner traded up to an 08 RZ2 or RZ4....I can't remember. He was supposed to call me back today, but no call yet. The rider's graphics need to go, but other than that, it's clean....esp. w/ the M2 tower they just added.

Nope... but I know Joe the owner!

I'll pm you his # if you want it. If anyone will cut you a deal, it's them. They are Tige's Largest dealer.
Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.

What happened to the original tower? Was the boat mistreated. It looks very clean in the pics.

What do you mean the rider's edition graphics have to go...I think they are bad to the bone!
        Be excellent to one another.

I don't believe the boat was mistreated. It never had a tower. Might have been used as a cruiser or something.

Rider's look a little 1999 to me for some reason. I'd rather it be nice and clean.

I feel it's a long shot to make it happen, but I am going to see what they can do for me. I'm a tight wad so I'll probably frustrate the hell out of them more than once.

Tanner, I thought Tigé Water Sports, in Corona CA, is the largest dealer in the world?

If you have ever been to the Lake of the Ozarks you will see that that boat was not used for cruising.

My brother and I both bought Tige's from Skiers Wharf. Mine was from the Blue Springs, MO office, my brother's was from LOTO. At the time both were Skiers Wharf, but now the Blue Springs office is it's own company.

Here is my experience: You must be careful dealing with the guys in Osage Beach. My boat was 1 year old when I bought it, and since I live in KS I had to have the highway patrol confirm the VIN on the trailer matched the title before I could register it. Guess what...it didn't match at all. Long story short, it took over 2 months of waiting on the owner Joe and his people to even bother calling me back (they already had my money, I had the boat). I repeatedly was told, "Joe or Jake will call you right back", and they never did for weeks. Everytime I took the boat somewhere I was risking a ticket - imagine the frustration of owning your first wakeboat and feeling like you can't trailer it! Long story long, they finally provided me with a statement of origin for the trailer, even though it was technically purchased used. I felt that they knew what they were doing and the boat was in great shape, but they didn't care at all to help their customer. I am much happier dealing with Ryan Didier and Eric at Just Ride in Blue Springs. Everyone makes mistakes, but you can tell when someone really tries to help, and when someone couldn't care less.

My brother's experience: He found a boat they were selling on e-bay, and went to look at it. Eventually they made a deal, including some stuff that was going to be repaired/changed, including the prop. If I remember correctly, when he went to pick up the boat (about a 4 hour drive for him) some of the stuff wasn't done. There was also some kind of paperwork issues but I can't remember exactly what.

After it was all over, I wouldn't let it stop me from buying a Tige. I would just be very careful and check everything. I couldn't believe a dealership could sell a trailer they didn't legally own, but the real problem was their lack of helpfulness in fixing the problem. From their perspective I'm sure I was a real pain in the rear, but when you pay a lot for a nice boat from a dealer you expect to be able to register it and get a license plate so I didn't feel bad about hassling them. My advice would be to buy the boat, but triple check everything before you pay them.

                    And, of course, good luck!

Well I got numbers back and they are actually not too bad considering the market on direct drives right now. It's not great, but it isn't bad either.

Thanks Tanner for the heads up. Ryan actually mentioned he spoke to Joe about working on the numbers for me. I now have to make a decision with the financial adviser (wife) on what we want to do. I also have to figure out what I want to do with the FAE and other non-price enhancing options I have on my rig. This is all assuming it isn't going to sale on ebay too. I'm sure they aren't looking forward the the exorbitant fees ebay charges for motor listings and sales.

Can anyone comment on the overall platform of the 22V in 03......dash cracking, instrumentation, engine issues, etc, etc? None of it really worries, me but I would like to have an idea of what I might be in for as far as improvements.

Are you talking about Ryan from Just Ride Sports in Lee's Summit, MO? I think they used to be a part of the Osage Beach store but now have one in suburban Kansas City. I bought my 24ve from them last year. www.justridesports.com

We worked with both Ryan and Eric during the sales process and they are very good.
