okay had to chime in. I like how the draft is better for them pulling into a beach. 1st off how often are we beaching our boats? most on hear dont.
2nd - since when is stainless propellors flexible as the tote? As i understand you use stainless to be strong and not loose power from the flex!.
-
Also stainless will do much more damage if running and hit something (interior gears and shafts) due to a lack of flex (trust me on this one).

They are trying to enter a tough market for part time boaters. they have a point on driving at low speeds and backing advantage, but i can park manuevuer my inboard just as well if not better than any i/o. It's called pratice and using the winds, tide and currents to your advantage.

Under the advantages section there are two things that I like:
1) Pop-up cleats - standard issue on all wakeboats.
2) Ladder - who needs a ladder when your platform is on the water, not 2 feet above."a what? i can['t] say/spell/pronounce that word..." - wannabewakeboarder

I am sorta biased I guess cause I am a odd guy here with an I/O, but there are pros and cons to both type of drive systems. To say V drive, or DD, or I/O is just plain "better" just not true. The surfing deal, no way around that one, if you like to surf you gotta stay away from I/O, I don't care how big the platform is, I am not surfing behind it. But aside from the inability to wake surf I can see the market for a boat like that. Not true they are junk, or poorly made, a good friend of mine has a big Chap Bowrider and although I think a 100k , 28 ft bowrider is sorta foolish, the fit and finish of the boat is top notch. In fact I would say it rivals most other boat brands I have seen.

Couldn't agree more about the swim platform. We have gotten so spoiled with a platform at water level. Last week wakeboarding, our friend, on their boat, an i/o, went to put her board on, and she thought our boat was sooo much easier to work with. Hopefully he won't read this I have another friend looking for an extended swim platform for his i/o and he is rather dissapointed that he can't find one that sits right at water level. His boat would allow it design wise, but there just isn't one out there.

Having a swim platform at the water was one of the reasons we decided to go with an inboard. We started out looking ta an I/O with ballast and tower, but the prices were too close to not step up to a real tow boat.
Not knocking the boat, just dont agree with their advertisement and comparison to an inboard. It may be an alternative, but not a substitute, and certainly not an equalMikes Liquid Audio: Knowledge Experience Customer Service you can trust-KICKER WetSounds ACME props FlyHigh Custom Ballast Clarion LiquidLumens LEDs Roswell Wave Deflector And More

AHHH HAHAHAHAHAHAHA.(breath in) ..HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.. that thing is redic. having the platform at water level is key. I also like the brainwashed tab. I'm pretty sure the flat one is going to make the best wake due to the fact that that is the only reason they are flat since they preform horribly at high speeds. Flat bottom boats make smooth wakes and v bottom boats are made to cut through them, not make them lol. My tige make a bigger wake than my dad's 29 foot Sea Ray, and that thing weighs a lot more than the tige does.Tige Throws Mad Wake.

WOW!! 66k! Without options. What is a new RZ2 without options? Also, if you look at the rear of my Tige, it is not flat. That went out with the pre series if I am not mistaken. You want flat, look at older 3 event ski boats. I bet most wakeboard boats are no longer flat. They are doing what people do in all types of businesses, they deceive the uninformed public with slick ads that walk a razor thin line between truth and lies. They should be ashamed.
