Did you make that platform or is that an option. If you made it, could you have made it angle in more like the Z1 so it doesn't cut into the wave as much? It looks nice!

It is an option we offer, we have done two RZ4 boats. It can be made shorter if that is what you mean. I have thought about getting one made one board shorter.

I was thinking narrower...not shorter. The Z1 edges are perpendicular like the RZ2's are, I was thinking the platform would be the same shape as the Z1.

This RZ4 platform is perpendicular. The edges could taper in as it moves away from the boat.

Love the teak. It just looks sooo classy! Nice job on it.
Other than that, Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play?

I hope that teak or whatever the particular wood Tige subs out for is better than my teak platform on my 06 22V. It split between the two pieces that were glued and shrunk on the outside. Looked like crap and not what I expected on such and expensive boat.

We had the above platform made locally.

                        lee,
is the platform real teak or iroco wood?

Real Teak not iroko wood. Ski View was the company that used the iroko wood.

Lee, what's your retail on one of those? Could you have it built like the Z1 platform like we were thinking? You could be onto something if you designed a teak/wood platform that didn't interfere with the surf wave on the RZ's. I personally wouldn't want a teak platform but possibly a wood one that was rhino-lined over top. The teak looks very nice, it's just not my style.

omg that looks amazing. The only way I would ever trade to an RZ is is it had a teak platform, the fiberglass ones look too cheap for me. Why did Tige stop making teak paltforms anyway?
