what is max RPM on a 335HP Switch/20 V?

My boat was going 53-54 MPH today at 4400 RPM. That seems way too fast (esp. at altitude). I'm not complaining, but I want to make sure everything is in order, before I call ACME re: new prop spec. I am currently running a low alt prop, and need to get a high alt prop.

i Have the stock prop, and at 3,000 rpm = 30mph.
I have the MPI marine power 5.7

you can set the speed with a pot under the dash

You need to get out the GPS unit and check your speedo.

RPM sounds about right, maybe even 200-300 slow, but I'll bet you will find the speed about 5-6mph off when you check with GPS.

I called ACME this morning to figure out what's the best prop for my boat. Jim was going off of 5200 RPM as redline. I also saw a writeup on my boat and it said it's max RPM was 5200. Is 5200 too high? I have a 2004 335 HP motor.
