OWN have you been out yet this year?

No and it is killing me. I went and picked my son up from college yesterday and today was a work day for me. We are planning next Saturday and then going to Powell for 5 days on the 14th. It seems like yesterday that we had the little bugger at Lake Powell when he was six weeks old which now has been 19 years. Life flies by while you are doing stuff other than boating and spending time with family. After 19 years of his life as I sit here thinking of all the good times I'm only rememberring the times at the lake and on the hill sledding. He is only home for a month and then he is off to Itally for two years. We are planning on getting out on the lake often in the next month. We have been talking about a spring fling at mead the week before he leaves with the same group of kids that were at the reunion last fall. It may be the last blast these kids get together as by the time my son is home some of his friends that are older will be married, off to school and jobs and stuff like that. I am stoked for the next month and then I'm afraid depression will set in. I love my girls, but they are not my boy. Wow this turned into a ramble. Sorry!

Congrats on the baby. As far as taking the baby on your boat, I would check with your Doc. The bouncing may not be very good until he is 6, 9 or maybe even 12 months old (these numbers are just a guess).

Congratulations! It's not the quantity, but the quality of posts. This one is pure quality! You even nailed it with a Stellar photo. After trying for five years I'm sure it makes it that more sweeter.

I would say we had our son out at around the two to three month mark. The fussed and cried a little at first but would sleep a lot while the boat was running. My wife would park the baby and her in the observers seat under the bimini. The sun screen was the hardest part. My wife is a stickler about sunscreen. Good luck!

thanks to all of you for the congrats and additional info... that is one of the reasons my wife and i love tige' the family you get with the boat, kinda like the verizon "network" commercial....LOL
