    Fly High Pole

Just picked up a 2004 20i. My first real ski/wakeboard boat (im going from 135hp to 320hp). Would like some thoughts about a Fly High Pole. (Not ready to get a tower). Aluminum vs Steel? Any tips or suggestions with the pole? Rants or Raves? Thanks!

I have the Fly with racks, find the only thing really annoying is when the wakeboards are wet they drip down your back when driving the boat unless you have a bimmi. The other thing to consider is that you may need to get a hole cut in the bimmi so that the pole can go through it which means you will need to lift the bottom up and over the bimmi to thread it through. Regularly check the mounting bolts for the ski pole as they tend to work loose with the additional leverage the high pole adds to it. Also if you operate in salt make sure the fittings are stainless.

Congrats on the Tigé!! Welcome to the family. IMHO, nothing beats a tower. monster towers and one other brand which escapes me at the moment are about $1200, rock solid (and they look cool ). My rational was ....well you just spent all this $$ on a nice boat, might as well spend the extra $$ to put a tower on it. Just my
Reality is only an illusion that occurs due to a lack of alcohol.

Welcome aboard and to the Tige family.

x2 on the Monster tower. A tower dresses the boat up and look kewl

The monster tower is also very easy to install. No need to pay someone to do it.

X2 on the tower. Samson, Monster, Xplosion...etc.....are all good towers. Spend a little more for the tower, it will be good for resale and you will appreciate having it!

btw, when I say a little more, I really mean like $1500 more , I use that word a bit loosely
