Cant remember if this has been discussed. Can anyone remember seeing a pull-point on a tower that allso had a white running light, all in one? I saw one somewhere and now I want to put one on my tower. This would do away with the pole light we all use when traveling after dark. Thanks ahead for everyones help.

What tower do you have?
To cutoff the old one, and drill a hole for the wire might be a lot harder then you think.
I have my speakers on top (due to the bimini, makes it easy to open and close with out taking it off) I installed one in the middle of the speakers; I also put florescent lights under the speakers to light up the inside of the boat from above.Attached FilesTige, it's a way of life!

If its a pull point, it is usually welded on, like this.

Otherwise you can buy a tower anchor light.

I have an Extreme Phat tower; they use angel iron for the brace on the top of the tower.
I built a box and installed some 12v florescent lights that where designed for a PC.
My speakers and anchor light attaché to the top of the box.
If you want, I can take some pics when I get back this weekend.Last edited by whitlock87; 05-01-2008, 08:17 AM.Tige, it's a way of life!

My tower is a custom Hootchie Tower with replaceable pull point. (dont now how you would ever wear one out) Somewhere I saw one that the light was a light on the top third og the pull point. My tower is allready drilled for extra wires, so it would be an easy upgrade. I do have to be concerned with hight however, because the Delta in Ca. has a changing tide and I need to get passed some pretty low bridges at high tide.
