Hi I am currently evaluating 2 Tiges and interested in others thoughts on which to go for...The 2003 24V has been a saltwater boat cut has a ceramic intake so as far as I can tell it has not been adversly affected by the saltwater. The 2005 20V is one of only 2 Tige US Open boats that they made and is loaded to the kilt including ballast. At the end of the day the 24V has about 100 more hours but is almost 10k less than the 20V. All I care about is wakesurfing to quite honest so your help would be much appreciated! Thanks

If done correctly, the owner should have been giving it a fresh water flush each and every time out. IMO, I don't think there will be that big of a problem but the salt crystals will kind of tell you how much he did to clean it up after the day. We do have a few members on here that run their boats in salt water a lot if not all of the time and they haven't had an issue.

I would definately go with the 24v. I have a 22v and i have problems as it is fitting everyone in the boat, I can't imagine having a 20v. Plus the draft on a 24v is 13 inches deeper giving you a much bigger wake for surfng.
Also with the 10k you will save you will be able to deck it out with some pretty sweet stuff that the 20v you are looking at could only dream of having. That or fill it up two or three timesTige Throws Mad Wake.
