    Sorry, not brass (duh):
    Q: What is Nibral?
A: Nibral is an alloy of nickel, bronze, and aluminum. It is stronger than bronze, but not as strong as stainless steel.

My '01 22i came with a 4-blade SS prop made by Cutter that I keep as backup as chpthril suggested. I pulled it last year and went with 3-blade 525 as recommended by Acme - best thing I've done to my Tige.

          No worries....

FYI deltaprops.com has coupon that you can type in at checkout for an additonal 10% off acme props code = DPACMESB

I will do this tomorrow after I see if/what my dealer can do for me.

Again I would recommend if you are getting Acme prop that you check with SPBFan before you purchase off an Internet site. He may be able to save you money. I saved over $50 over the Delta Prop price if you include the coupon for an Acme 537.

            The Delta Prop url is:

Sorry I did not catch this thread sooner. I was a the lake today with Sean's Brother. We had a blast. He is just as good of a person as his Sean.

Now for the subject. For tow boats. ACME is the best hands down. I would run nothing but.

                    Jason,
The current 20V's run an Acme 537 4 blade prop. Chpthril verified this when I bought my spare. kana12 has an Acme 537 up in the Accessories and equip threads if you are interested.

Jason's is an 02, dont know if a 537 will work or not. Best call ACME.

And just to clarify, I'm almost 99% kinda sure that all the 06 and newer V-drives with the 1.5:1 gearing are running the 537. It's always best to verify.

diesel and buffman - I have a 1:1 transmission, and a low alt prop. I need to buy a new one for my boat too. I wonder if the 3 of us can get togeather and get a good price from Bill, or the prop shop, or even jim's props?? I was first going to try and re-cup and pitch it, but I will probably end up with a new one

you guys really need to PM SPBFAN. Because of what he does for a living he can get you a deal. With three of you I'd bet its even a better deal. He can go to ACME for you. Well worth it. I go through him for most of my major parts.

We traded PM's last night too. I beleive I need a ACME 653, but at the same time, I haven't even had my boat on the water yet. :-(
