Any body have some tips for fueling up. No matter how slow I try to fill up my Z1 always overflows after shutoff. I know it is not vented as well as a car but very frustrating

Some tips I have tried, as I have a regurgitation problem too.
1) As soon as the pump clicks off, that's it. Don't try and overfill.
2) Sometimes I have to hold the pump nozzle upside down to get it to flow well. Again, stop after it clicks off.
3) I hold a wad of paper towels under and around the nozzle tip against the boat. They help catch any gas that might be burped back out.
4) I fill at a pump that has a sloped driveway in front of it...sloped away so the fill side of the boat is higher than the other side.
Good luck...lots of other Tigé owners have described fill-up problems.

I turn the nozzle upside down for better flow (2 of our cars require the same thing) and listen closley when you think it is getting full. You will hear the gas filling up the hose to the tank. As hoopykat says, quit after the first click off, you can get a little more gas in, but it is not worth the mess.

You can usually hear when it's getting close.

I do the paper towel trick. Seems to work for catching any spillage.....but these days you gotta make sure you get every drop in the tank....getting damn expensive
I've not tried the upside-down nozzel before, I'll give that a go. but if you use the paper towels, and listen, you'll be ok.
You would think some enterprising young engineer would come up with an easy solution for this, wouldn't ya?Reality is only an illusion that occurs due to a lack of alcohol.
