Help me decide...Z1 vs Mobius LSV vs Vride!

The 22ve, I liked is another 10k. Out of my range. Im liking the guys at Shipyard, and its more convenient for me going north.

Just a heads up. Not sure what youor budget is, but I payed 45k for my new 22V in 2005. Loaded with tower of power and everything. Paid under 55k for my new 24Ve w/ Wetsounds upgrade AND factory ballast. There are unbelievable deals to be had out there.....

Now that is a 2007 brand new.. They have one that is graphite gray hull, white sides, and the other accents are graphite gray. E tower with powdercoated graphite gray uprights. Might come with a stereo but their charge you for that one. Not sure how much... They might also have a yellow one (white hull with yellow sides and accents are white. not sure about the upright color.)

We tested on a really choppy water, lake winneabago....and on the river.

Boat looked good. Nicer than I thought. Quality was there. Sound system rocked.

Cool start up on that boat.

Handled big chop nice.

The issues I had were that the wake at 11 mph was not real clean, I need that speed for the little ones learning to ski. The vride was tons cleaner at that speed.

The tower was a bit wobbly..seemed to move around more than the Moomba and vride.

Taps seems nice, but it seemed to be either all up or all down...never needed it partway.

Turning radius, def cant turn as sharp as the BU or Moomba..I mean normal throttle at low speed...turns like a bow rider.

More bow rise than the vride or moomba....could not adjust any further..taps may need a spacer.

All in all a NICE boat. I liked it, but the sealer was bow rise, turning radius, and wake shape at low speed.

Nice thing is SHIPYARD sell Malibu also!

Well as it stands now, I may retract my praise for Shipyard Marine in Wisconsin. If they do the right thing, I wont say what is going on now, I will be a "satisfied" customer. If not, ........Hope you are reading this guys...

We looked at the moombas and the supras hard before buying our 24Ve. There were several things that made us go Tige, but one was the bow playpen. We couldn't get a boat with a walkin bow, they all have that playpen setup, which my wife and I just hated. Is that still the case? Can you order without the playpen?

The Moomba LSV doesn't have the playpen, the VLX does but from what i understand you can order it with a regular walk through.

we were only looking at the bigger ones, 23 and 24, and they said they only came with the playpen. The centurions seem to be the same way. Others may like it, I don't.

Moomba LSV Mobius vs Tige

I had a 2002 LSV Mobius, this is an older boat and I sold it before I wanted to as a result of work. I have been shopping around for a few years and felt the finish and overall boat was much better from Tige. I priced a new Moomba and it was a little cheaper than the Z1, for me the price difference was nothing when I look at the warrenty on the hull and the finish was some much better on the Tige. So I ended up with a z1, it is a new boat so they are always looking at improving the ride.
