As a dealer, you should do that without knowing that he will buy the boat. j/k But again, that is why I live in California and not WI.

Nother funny thing....place where I tested the vride is bashing the Tige...kinda...just OVER selling the better quality of the vride...ya know....heres what he said...

Make sure you put the tower up and down. Also drive it through big waves like I did and watch or listen to the tower move, among other things. Try to turn it on a dime, notice the tape graphics. I feel these are OK on a sled but not on boats of this caliber. Also ask why they use wood in the construction, and why the inferior vinyl, seems like big sacrificing for a stereo. If you can come out to the demo day tomorrow, I'd love to take you for another ride. Have a good week end!

Wood, they haven't used wood for years... What year are they living in.

As for graphics, not sure why Tige uses stickers but I IMO, it is a lot easier to replace sticker graphics than graphics that are gelcoated into the boat. But, to each their own. I am sure the vride is a nice boat and probably not a easy choice.

Well the freekin vride has a ugly arse sticker on the side! I like decals..if you tear it, rub it or tire of it....replace it! The rest of the boat is the same with gel coat.

One thing that turns me off is if they rip another product when they in fact know nothing about it. I actually sent them the tige factory tour link! LOL

Seems as if he was trying to compare a 10 + year old Tige to his BU VRIDE. Personally I hate when a salesman A) doesn't really know his competition and B) is not confident enough in his own product he has to try to create problems or issues with the competition in order to sell his product.

The fact of the matter is that Tige has a winner here with the Z1 and I think the competition knows it.

Good luck with the purchase whatever you decide is right for you.

Good for you. I do know that Tige was having problems with their vinyl 3-4 years ago in the seems from what I understand. They have fixed that problem and they have moved onto better vinyl.

Turn on a dime???? Show me an inboard that can turn on a dime and I will give you my ocean front property that I own in Arizona.

Now that is just funny. Again, we try not to bash other products here but love to bash ignorant people that don't know anything about products.

He has 3 loftover vrides and they are not dealing on anything.

You are freekin funny! If it looks as good in person and rides/handles like I expect. We may work sumthin out. I dont think i can get the Vride...even tho it was pretty nice from a handling/quiet aspect..due to the dealers attitude.

If you can get someone out behind the v-ride, put your hand on top of the gunwale next to the illusion tower. When the rider cuts in, the fiberglass will flex. Do the same thing on the Z1, the tower nor the gunwale will move. If the z1 is anything like my 22v, it will handle very well. My kids love to powerturn from the Main Channel into the cove (where we load and unload) @ about 40 mph.

That is a nice looking Z1.

I think once you drive a Tige you will see why we are all proud of our boats on here.

Actually, I can take my Tige and turn it on a dime. I just don't do it because it's kinda hard on the passengers when they fly out of the boat (there's not a lot to hold onto in the cockpit area). But hey, if you're a driving a BU all by yourself, go for it!

BTW, what's wrong with wood? It's actually stronger and stiffer than that composite stuff everyone else uses. My boat's almost 10 years old and it's still rock solid.

Seriously, if the other dealer is bashing Tige, then that's not good. I'd go with the dealer that is honest with you. All 3 boats are going to be good boats, but they are different. The Tige dealer seems pretty eager to get your business and that Z1 color combo is sweet!

Last but not least, you get us to help you out when you need help.

Well the old Tigé would turn on a dime and give change! So hard in fact that if you were not holding on you WOULD go flying out if you were in the back. You know what? The ... ahem ... Moomba will almost do it to the same degree, i never would have thought a V-drive could. I know because i did it on the test drive at the dealers instruction and believe me it will scare the crap outta ya the first time.
