I know that I can seriously weigh down a 24v that would create a swell just short of an underwater tectonic event, but I have yet to see a picture of the Z with a phat wake thats properly ballasted (catalog pics are unweighted <gasp!>)
If you can afford the 24Ve, do it. I have been behind a 20i and have owned a 22V and there really isn't much comparison to the 24Ve as far as ride quality, and the wake can be made MUCH bigger in the 24 footer. Just my .02. I love the Z1 also!!!

aye... THERES the rub! I've got a few job prospects that I'm working on (heading back to the private sector as a consultant), so we'll see what happens in the next few months.

Do those wraps stay on?? or are they prone to peelin?

gonna take some pic tomorrow at work but as far as the wrap and the peeling it did good on the water and when i was putting the boat back together i had a few places tear from me rubbing stuff on it and banging it but the good thing is i can just cut a small piece of the vinyl i have left over to cover it up!! but the trailer didn't do anything taking it off or putting it on (keelguad prob. helped that) and also when we installed the wrap we put a sealant glue on the bottom so that seemed to work great too..
