    Boat Friendly Food

So we were out on the water today and while I'm not complaining, I'm really getting tired of eating sandwiches on the boat... So I thought I would ask you guys what you bring along to eat for a long day on the water.

    Chips are a bad idea!

We usually make sandwhichs or if we have a big crew goin out we'll plan to go to a sand bar and grill somthing up, Chicken, Steaks, Burgers, Dogs....etc

if we are riding; bananas, jack links beef jerky, and lots of bottled water.
if we are at party cove; budweiser products, maybe some jello shots

River = Various docks with seafood resturants all over there.

Lake = Gold Fish crackers, beef jerky, sandwiches (are eaten on the swm platform), and chips (eaten on the swm platform).

We brink beer, water, and other adult beverages each and everytime.

Yea, I forgot to add on water resturants. We go out for a weekend and usually we'll go to one of those one night and grill the other.

Just say no to Cheetos, gold fish and dark red fruit punch.

Yep, no RED anything on our boat - someone spilled red gatorade or something on my last boat and I never could get it all the way out.

Costco has some awesome fruit drinks that are clear. They are more soda than anything, but they come in various flavors. Those are the best.

I do plenty of chips, they do not take too much trouble to clean out.

                  No sunflower seeds.
                  Be excellent to one another.

Fresh guac. Bring two avocados and the guac mix and you have a great fresh snack.

No cheetos. Just say no, and then say no again until they hear you.

We usually go with the string cheese, some ham, and tortilla chips. Yeah, they get spilled, but at least they don't stain anything. Pretzels are fantastic boat food too. Fruit, like grapes, watermelon....seedless and on the platform....most times when we go out later in the afternoon, we just hit McD's or something on the way.

As for beverages....always Rolling Rock (at least thats the latest kick), water, some pop for the kids, but only one each. Sometimes some of the ladies will bring some of those Smirnoff drinks.
Reality is only an illusion that occurs due to a lack of alcohol.

So one time this pontoon came and tied up w/ me (yes I know... NEVER LET A PONTOON TIE UP WITH YOU) but he had a george forman grill and and power inverter. He was serving up burgers however you wanted in 5 mins. I was drunk as a skunk but I'm telling you they were good. My fiance was puking, so thats why I let him tie up... to get her food. They were GOOD. So....I got one....
                          george forman $90 ...
                          Power inverter $20 ...
getting damn good burgers when your waisted.... priceless!!!!
Being a major OU fan and a staunch conservative.... I am perpetually vexed w/ the conundrum of who to hate more. Obama or the Univ. of Saxet.

We bring the following almost every time.
Cheese and crackers, Beef sticks or summer sausage. Each kid get a can of pop, they usally like propell instead. Some other assortment of lunchmeat for sandwhiches. Beer, then more beer. We also bring chips but no cheetoes.

I have never thought of a grill? How do you grill on the lake and where do you put it on the boat? George Forman, hmmmm I have one of those. May have to try that one. One I would need to get a table of some sort.

My rule is nothing red, orange or greasy. If it fits in any of those categories it stays off the boat. Period.
