The dilema i have on lake mead is finding nice water away from the wind and 100mph mullet boats that fly though the narrows. As a tige owner I desperately need your help to know where to go withough pounding my Tige through rough water and being able to find some nice wakeboarding water.
I bought my boat 1/2 way through last season and before that i was hitting AZ lakes with my friends boats when i lived there so i do not have a whole lot of knowledge on good mead spots but here are my recomendations since i started the Thread
WHERE TO GO: so far on lake mead i usually find my self in the narrows or right outside of them.
WHEN TO GO: In the morning or afternoon i have found the wind to be calmer and obviosly a lot less traffic... this = better water
PROS:I like this spot because if its windy before the narrows you can find good water in the narrows, but if its windy in the narrows you can find good water right before the bend prior to entering the narrows.
CONS: Traffic pics up here after about 11am and lots of mullet boats fly through here so the water turns from wakeboard friendly to jump on a tube and call it a day
