I have heard nothing but bad thing about carlisle tires!!!!!!!!!!!

If you have them right now you are very lucky not to have any blowouts.

    GET ANYTHING BUT CARLISLE TRIES!!!!!!!!

I couldn't agree more with G-Money, I had Carlisle's on my fifth wheel, TWO blowouts on the same trip.

Wow, ditto G-Money and 22ba! I spend quite a bit of time over at rv.net and haven't heard one good thing about Carlisle, in fact most people call them craplisle.

I have had both Maxxus and Carlisle. The old Carlisle were bad but I think the new ones are better. I don't tow my boat very far or very often so there is very little wear on them. The Maxxus tires I used I had for 6 years and they were great and I would tow much more often (because my boat would always break down ) They were a great price from what I remember.

Get Goodyear Marathons. I had nothing but trouble with Carlisle on my tandem axle trailer. They were ok on my single axle.

I agree with Dogbert. I had Goodyear Marathons on my Four Winns trailer for 14 years and 3 set of tires due to winter rot. Never had a real issue.

Now I have Carlisle on my Tige trailer

In Texas, you need to replace your tires every 5 years. The Carlisles I had were from Walmart, they didn't last more than a year. I finally just got sick of them and replaced them.

Overtons has good deals on tires. Thats where we got our spare, which was half the price our dealer wanted

I've had mixed results with Carlisle. It is the only tire McClain uses and they get heavy use down here.

Goodyear Marathon. I've used them on five different trailers since '91 and never had a problem.
Indecision may or may not be my problem
