Height from ground to top of the tower

I know its gonna vary from boat to boat due to different wheels and tires. How tall are most garage doors thet you guys have to put your boat in with out laying over the tower??? I'm wanting to build me a shop... To lazy right now to go out and measure my tower....

I'll bet it's 11+ ft. Folded down will be about 7+ ft.

My old storage garage had a 12 ft door and it fit no problem

I would go with a 12' door, that should clear almost anything. Mine measures approximately 10.5' tall to the top of the light on the tower.

Mine is about 10 feet 6 inches.

I am just in the building stage of my toy shop as well, I went 12x12 for the door sizes to be safe.

Very nice garage, I wish I had enough land to build one in my house.

I measure my boat, and it is about 11' 11" to the top of the tower.

My carport is 8 feet and the tower height when it's lowered is 7'6".

My garage opening is 82.5" and the tower when folded was 86.5". Needless to say it wouldn't fit until I had the trailer modified and push in with one hell of a drop down draw bar( 11 inch drop). I will actually find out Friday if it indeed fits

Thanks, I am totally excited about it! floor was poured today and siding is set to start end of this week. After that insulation/drywall and all the little detail.

It is 34X50, (1700 SF) the right side bay is the boats new home. complete with ceiling fans, floor drain and a few rows of outlets high enough to reach while in the boat. Will be plumbing in a built in overhead vac for easy cleaning as well

It's been a fun project

I will post more pics once it is closer to being complete.
