Apparently the boat didn't recognize the stop light.

And people are always asking why they need to run tie-downs...........

That looks like a double doozy. I bet the driver was following too close and had to take the outside to avoid smacking the car in front when it braked for a red light. He caught the pole. Boat wasn't tied down. Truck caught the boat.

Definitely more ammunition for me when some subintelligent thinker (sorry to offend) argues that they do not need tie downs on the transom. I will save this picture.

We bought our boat in Austin and drug it back to AZ. The Malibu dealer said they NEVER use straps and wanted to SELL me straps for my 1,200 mile trip. The Owner of the shop walked in and asked what the problem was and I told him. He thru in the straps for free.

I won't pull our boat around the block without straps.

                Great picture.

There is nothing like a flying Bayliner

When I first glanced at it I was wondering why someone would load a Bayliner in the Bed of the Truck.

Silly me but people in the 70's and 80's would put small fishing boats in the bed of a truck so they could haul other stuff.

I am sure this guy will use tie downs on the aft in the future.

Is unreal how his trailer just collapsed.
