"Hello Everyone! I have been getting some updates from Sean's Aunt Fay and Grandma Harmon, who have been visiting him all week. They are having a good visit with Sean. Sean loves to go outside and take in some fresh air. He stays outside as long as he can, until he gets uncomfortable from sitting. They all enjoyed donuts and chocolate milk with his co-worker Steve Gloeckner on Monday. Dave Kinser and Ken Madding were able to make another trip to see Sean this week too. And Cornelius Flynn and Dave Todd were also able to visit him this morning. I bet he feels special with all these visitors!

His dad bought him an OU TV controller, so he was able to program it and has been enjoying watching the Olympics. He has also been enjoying his Lipton's Green Tea (the cold one in the bottle), so if you visit him, please take him one!

He told his Aunt and Grandma how much he has progressed over the last few months. I think we all agree that his progress is impressive! He continues to stay positive and remains in good spirits. He stays very focused on his therapy, as he wants to get out of there as soon as possible!

Please continue sending him postcards and notes, as he enjoys them throughly.

Great news about Sean.. He is finally going home...

"Hello All! I have some very exciting news today. Sean is currently being transferred back to Bakersfield, CA right now! He should arrive at approximately 3pm. Sean said (about an hour into the trip) that the drive wasn't all that fun, but he is excited to come back home.

Carley is getting their dogs up to date on their current vaccinations, so they will be able to visit Sean at his new rehabilitation facility. Sean is expected to live at Healthsouth for approximately three weeks, then will be able to return home. From there, he will continue with outpatient therapy.

Sean will have many visitors here in Bakersfield, as this has been his home for about two years now. For those of you who will be flying in for visits, our airport code is BFL. I know there will be set visiting hours, but at this time I do not know what they will be. I will update the site again as soon as I obtain this information.

Until I know the exact way this facility handles mail, I will be happy to receive items at the ConocoPhillips Bakersfield office (2152 Coffee Road, Bakersfield, CA 93308) and deliver them to him.

Please continue your thoughts and prayers for Sean and his family as he continues down the road to recovery.

I visited Sean today with my wife. He looks really good and is a little upset about the weight he has put on in his belly area but he knows he will loose it soon. He could talk with us and is in very good spirits. He has a very positive outlook on things. He did make mention that he will find a way to wake board. He may not be able to do the tricks and all but at least get behind the boat. Go Sean he never fails to amaze us.
