Yea, if he has a laptop, he would be able to spend the next three days just reading this thread, thereby taking his mind off of the pain. He could also communicate just like he did before the accident, and he would be able to see firsthand all of the support that he has, that would have to lift his spirits and accelerate the healing. He can't get a laptop fast enough.
Great News!!!!! With him concious now he will be able to have a say in his recovery! I am real happy for Sean to hear this news.
Hopefully when members from the area can visit it willl really raise his spirits.
ps: If they will allow a laptop at Stanford in his room I have an older Dell with Wi-FI that I would be willing to send out to Sean. It is good enough to surf the net and this forum. It also has two batteries.
