UPDATE!!!!

It is official. He has a bed available at the Stanford Medical center. He was transfered today. I am sure this will be a blessing for him. He was transfered via helicopter and his Mom and Aunt I am sure are driving up there. As I find out more details I will keep you informed.

Stanford medical center is a great place. Unfortunatley I know this becuase my family has spent a lot of time there in the past. Sean will recieve great care while he is there.

Stanford is part of the University of California system. The UC systems are good for medical training and specialize in specific areas more so than the California State University system.

I travel to that area on a consistent basis, actually was at the facility on Weds. While I do not know Sean and I am new to the board, I will do anything I can to help. Please just let me know how I can help.

It is my understanding that is a private institution and not part of the UC system. The care that Sean will recieve there will be better than almost any care facility on the west coast. The Stanford Medical School ranks in the top 10 in the world.

I can personally vouch for how good Stanford medical facility is. My father had open heart surgery there and the care he recieved was outstanding.

I don't know what area Sean will be going to, but all the facilities that I have been to there have been top notch. Sean should be in very good hands.

As the weeks pass by since this happened I think and wonder how you are often, I hope and pray that progress and healing are with you. Keep motoring on Sean.

Even for the time ive been on this board and as much as I know him, this is yet pretty emotional. Ill keep him and family in our prayers. Although I am glad to hear that he is on his road to recovery aside from his leg. Its a little upsetting I didnt see this sooner to make it on the banner but im sure he will love it.
