The problem with staph infections is the way they stay in the entire body. As many injured areas as it seems like he has, it sounds like he is doing pretty good fighting it off. White cell count dropping is great news from an infection standpoint.

UPDATE!!!! 05-03-08

Guys, Sean has taken a bit of a down hill turn. They had to remove the whole leg. His infections are still very real. They have to transfer him to a different hospital in Los Angeles they are not sure where he is going to as of yet. They are going to have to remove part of his Pelvis and the doctors here do not have the experience to do that. He is still fighting but it is getting harder for him to do. Keep him in your prayers.

The banner was given to his MOM and Brother last week. I can not tell you how much they appreciated it. They plan to hang it for Sean as soon as they can. We are collecting pictures still so send what you have even if you think it is not a good shot.

God speed my friend, this is a great fight you are in. We have to remember that our bodies are the most complicated machines in world and they can do remarkable things when pushed. We just need to keep the encouragement up. I think that will give him the drive, knowing that there are people out here that he has no idea who we are, rooting for him and wish him all the best.
One last thing. As strange as this may sound and we have all heard this before.
God, for what ever reason chosen this path for Dom. We may not understand it or agree with it. Now we have to get Dom to accept what has happened and move on. I truly believe his life will be better then before. Different for sure, but better.
