Info from the hospital sent by his step father.

At 11:30 AM when Seans Mom and my Grandmother went in to see Sean in the ICU the doctors informed his mom that the sedatives had stopped being administered to him. Sean did respond to his grandmother saying hello to her.

To quote Dickens in A Tale of Two Cities, “It’s the best of times, It’s the worst of times”. The doctor asked his mom not to come back until they had fully brought him around, removed his ventilator and tried feeding him solid foods. Now comes the times with the pain for Sean and I am sure they did not want his family there witnessing that as well they need to be able to concentrate on him and not worry about his mother standing there.

Due to the high amount of trauma cases that have come into the unit Sean’s next surgery has been postponed to Saturday or Sunday.

The family will let everyone know when they are able to see Sean again.

Thanks for the update! I feel like this is good news but bad at the same time. Good to hear that they have pulled him out of the coma!
