Sure we will do the design. ( well Mick will be doing it, he's the better half when it comes to design)

So what are we going to do?

1) Custom Surf Board design

-Or-

2) Custom banner signed by all of us ( usernames)

Here is what I am thinking right now.

1st of all I am so glad that we got him the handle! That was meant to be as I think it will be a great tool for him while he recovers.

with both of the other options I think there are pros and cons that maybe we should think about.

Banner- To do it right and we want to do it right we need a good pics. so far I have received 2 pics that we can make work but will be fuzzy up close but will look good from 15 feet away. ( again we need a high DPI for the best result up close)

Surfboard- It would be totally cool to have a custom board, but ( and this just me thinking out loud) I am imagining that he will be in the hospital for some time, how do you secure the board so it is not in the way of the nurses or guests? what if it gets damaged over the long haul?

And ( I don't like to say this) but what if he can never ride it, will that be frustrating to him? on the flip side, it might motivate him to ride as well... I am ( like all of us ) thinking emotionally and just want to offer him the support he deserves.


I don't want to create a debate but things to consider, once again there is no right or wrong with this and whatever we decide to do, Myself and Mick will do all we can without question.

I vote banner as well. Great to hang in the garage after recovery. Surfboard is cool, but I wouldn't use it, I would think it to valuable to use if I were in his situation. Also less obtrusive in the hospital. I think whatever is great those are just my

I vote for the banner also. One thing we don't know is how well he is going to recover and a surfboard may cause depresion if his recovery leaves him with physical limitations. I hope he recovers 100% and once we know that we could also do a surfboard at a later time when it is more appropriate. Just my
