My thoughts and prayers are with Sean and his family. He is a friend, either personally or virtually, and we shouldn't speculate on the cause of the crash, just the result and how Sean can get better. As a paramedic who has seen WAY too many of these accidents, I worry about the patient and not whether or not they have been drinking.

I just think these kinds of things should make us think about what we do, and the care we take with regards to being safe. I truly hope he recovers completely.

I know for sure you were not and the info you found was very help full for us to get some sort of direction as to what a friend is going through. I appreciate the info. Regardless of what happened I just want to help a friend and see this be a positive life changing event for him. Even if he can not board once he gets well enough we need to get him on a boat with friends just to support him and help him recover. He can at least hold the flag for us and tell us what we are doing wrong. He can give us a few boarding pointers.
