Ah, Map Sensor I do know about. With that, you can go to about 3500 to 4000 RPM's and then the engine will die or barely run. If you are only going 10 mph, IMO, I don't think it's the map sensor.

You would know if you are in limp mode on the map sensor. No back firing of the engine was done when there was my issue with this sensor.

Once I got it home I tested the spark on all plugs. The right bank of 4 was noticeable less. The spark was more of a yellow and the other bank of 4 was a nice white strong spark. there was some misfiring and back firing around 2k rpm and at idle the was a noticeable stutter. It seemed to dropping cylinder on the right side.

Bad ECM? since I could not pin point it to one cylinder I am not thinking coil module.
Causes of running rich can be: MAP sensor but would run great @ wide open throttle as that's where you want the extra fuel; Coolant Temp sensor but again would run some what normal while @ higher RPM's; Throttle Position sensor yet again the symptoms will kinda go away as the engine speed increases.

The weak spark and the fact that you couldn't get any engine speed up has me wondering? Were you able to rev the engine up in neutral? That engine has "coil near plug" ignition, correct? The module really doesn't know right bank/left bank, just firing order, so why does one side of the engine have weak spark

Yes I was able to rev it up in neutral but was running rough. I just seemed weaker on one side maybe It was my interpretation but the spark did not look as white. Also seemed inconsistent. Right at the start of cranking there a few quick sparks then settle in to a pattern?

8 coils near plugs correct. When I am idling in the driveway it is noticeably stuttering and as mention popping evry once in a while and at 2k rpm

Also I did blow some coolant out but did not over heat the motor. I am attributing that to a weak cap on my coolant reservoir (closed system) But since you mention coolant sensor I thought I would throw it in.

I think its time to take in and put it on a computer or scope. To many weird things happening

Sorry to hear about you engine problems. I wish I knew more about it to help you out.

I would try the new dealer instead of Taylor's. Taylor's is taking forever to the boats out of there.

I know, unbelievable!!! We are at mid May and still getting snow!

Well, my boat is still on the shop for at least another week, so let it snow!

Yeah, I saw on the news/weather this a.m. that State College was getting some snow (I'm in Harrisburg - it's in the upper 30's today and pouring rain - nothing frozen).

We had scheduled OFF today to take the Mrs. out for a nice relaxing day on the boat after Mother's Day - didn't expect that we'd need our snowboarding gear...

Where do you run - Raystown?
