I think Andrew used 14 gauge wires.

      Ok, that makes sense. Thanks!

You guys think that's bad. You should check out a BU and Nautique hull. You can actually push a Nautique hull and make it flex!!!!

They don't have a lifetime hull warranty either.

Nope! Sure don't!.... hehe. Only reason I know this about the CC's is b/c I while at my dealer I was leaning on 210. And I thought I felt the hull flex.... I kind of raised an eyebrow at my dealer... he lowered his head and said, "I know". I couldn't believe it.

As for the bu's thickness... only reason I know is b/c I've helped install a ballast system. Wasn't pretty. Their little rubber mat (about like dynamat) they use to deaden their hull is ummm "CUTE"...lol.

I'd be curious to see what Tall's hull was like? I really don't remember... but I THINK he posted pics of it in his ballast install.

            EDIT....

Found it! Tall's hull was 5/8" thick.

EKS where are you at on your ballast? How much do you have left to finish. I need pics. I'm going crazy here not seeing it.

Check page 4 of this thread, I posted some pictures yesterday.

I am done as much as I can, I am waiting for the connectors now. I also notice that I had only 5 easy connectors instead of 6.

So I am missing the sack fittings and one easy straight connector.

I took the boat back to Taylor's yesterday to fix warranty issues not taken care last time.

Ed, you did an outstanding job it looks great. I can't wait to get in the boat this summer and go surfing. Did you get the electrical working?

Yes, it was a dead battery. Tige dedicates one battery to the engine and the other to everything else. That's why the fuel pump and engine were working and nothing else.

The boat is at Taylor's to fix a few issues that was supposed to be done last fall, including the battery, the gel-coat stress cracks (on the picture above), a few snaps from the cover coming loose, and a few others.

I might have it back to test it out next weekend.

The way your spring is, you should be okay for boating season still. Damn snow isn't suppose to fall this late in the year.

I hope we are done now with snows.

I finally finish the ballast install today.

I went out today to test it out, everything worked great. I just had a little leak that I already fixed it.

The only change to the system that I might want to change is to add a check valve on vent hoses. Without the vacuum the bags cannot get empty it all the way.

I forgot to take the camera with me, next time I will take some pictures of the wake. I WAS HUGE!!!

Thanks Andrew for helping me out.

No problem, I wish I could have help a little more but I do need to visit my family once in a while and make sure all is okay at home. I will be in touch soon to the date I can visit.
