    IMO, you are going to have the same problem of the bag being emptied if you use the same hole in the hull for your intake and outtake. I would take the outtake hole and put it up near the rubrails.

    I looked by the battery and I didn't see any breakers there, I did see 2 big fuses and they were both in perfect condition

    He is missing power from the battery to the breaker box and yes a lot of other things were inop. We did not have a DVOM with us or even a test lite. My guess is that one of the 60amp fuses at the battery is blown. You are only as good as the tools you own and if you know how to use them.     Where you able to determine whether it was Pos or Neg that was missing? Odds are that everthing in the breaker box is hot or a lot of stuff would be inop.

    There should be three wires on the positive side of the main battery.

    We tied into the open circuit breaker panel slots. We also put a fuse in the lines in addition to the circuit panel spots. On G's boat we uses the open spots on the + and - Buss bars under the dash.
