    Tower speakers

I have a 2004 22V Riders and have been having problems with the tow line catching on the tweeter on both of my tower speakers. We try and keep an eye out but it seems to catch once a day. It causes the speaker to spin and I am lucky one hasn't been ripped off the tower. Does anyone know of a fix for this problem?

We had a similar problem on our 2003 22V, about the only way to fix it is to relocate the tower speaker. You may be able to mount them "upside down".

Our easy fix was to use a Slalom skiing shock tube. This looks like a trailer guide pad that goes around your ski line from the point of attachment. It is cheap, and holds the rope up and away from the speakers enough to clear. You can buy them at your local ski shop or overton's. If you pay more than $10.00 you probably were ripped off.

If you watch eBay, they pop up there too. The one I saw had the Tige' logo on it.

Here's one on eBay now. A little more than $10 though.
