    MSRP ??? (NEWBIE)

    Hi guys,
I'm new to this site and wakeboarding boats in general. I've owned several boats and still own a couple of boats but never a wakeboard boat. I ran across the Tige brand on the cover of a Barts Catalog. I could not find any MSRP'S on the website. Can you guys tell me the MSRP from the bottom to top. Like 35,000 - 65,000 range or whatever it maybe. Also how does a 21 foot wake boat ride. We are on a very crowed mountainous, somewhat narrow and curvy lake. On the weekend of peak season it gets very ruff on the water. I have a 21 foot Yamaha LS2000 twin engine jet boat that will literally beat you to death. I wonder if alot of this is because its a light weight boat with no prop or anything in the water? I also have a 21 foot Nitro with a 150 and its almost as ruff. My wife has back problems and I need to find a smooth Riding boat. Any suggestions other than a wake boat or will it work much better than what I have.

Thanks in advance for you help!

Tige's a greast in rough water. They are quite heavy wake boats which gives them a great ride and rough water handling.

Try to find a local Tige dealer and take a demo. You'll be impressed. They ride great.
Indecision may or may not be my problem

You are going to get a smoother ride with the bigger boats. As for MSRP, the Z1 is what you are looking at. I think they are going for $39k+ and that is bare bones.

Welcome to the site. You will find a lot of great people on here that will be willing to help out.

If 65k is in the budget, you can get a very nicely optioned out 22Ve. It will handle rough water very well.

You might even be able to get a RZ2 or 24Ve for 65K the way the economy is going.

              he he he

Try and grab a 2007. There is some huge markdowns going on with them since Tige wants them gone.

Dont know where you are located but if it is CA you will be more than likely able to get huge markdowns on 07s but here in Colorado you will still pay top dollar as the market on Tiges is still strong as my dealer is on pace for another record year....

Where are you located? I just bought a loaded 22ve in Washington state and you will still pay top dollar. I found some great deals in California and they will ship. Pm me if you want more info. Dave at tri-valley marine and Chris at Capital watersports are really great guys I just didn't want to travel and made a good deal with a local dealer going out of business.

You won't believe the rough water ride difference between your current boat and a Tige! Welcome to the site, good luck with your purchase!

one of tiges stand outs is its ruff water rider and great handling. prices range from 40/75k ruffly. at 65k you could get an awsome 22ft V-drive like the 22ve or RZ2 wich will hold tons of people and really handle the ruff stuff well.Or you could get a 22I for less if you like the more traditional style direct drive. as others have said drive one you will love it. it will blow your jet boat away on ride quality(not raggin on your ride) they are just not in the same class of boat IMPO.test drive one come back let us know what you think and let us answer any questions you might have. good luck and hope you find one you like.

I'm not trying to sound like the devil's advocate here, but rough riding is all in how you percieve it. All wakeboard boats ride rough compared to I/O's due to the diference in makes of the boat.

That being said, i fell that Tige handles the best in rough water. It's still a rough ride, but not like what you have.

Regardless welcome to the board. Best thing to do is get out and test drive them. You will understand what we are saying. It's still a rough ride in rough water, but as compared to the other brands tige handle the best. I think it's still rough riding, but not as bad as the other brands.

I run here in tampa bay and gets ruff quite often i will put my ride up against any sea ray, rinker, welcraft, chaparal of same size (wich i have been in). put your right in is based on what you call "ruff ride". i had people get in a tige that have never been in a tige before and are use to other ski boats. they see meheading at a big wave or big rollers and they start to pucker if you know what i mean. I go through them and they look at me like "what the hell" that would have broken my boat in half. they think it was a fluke or something so i let them drive they go i what i call the "big wave hunt" they go try to find the narliest wave they can and hit. they just shake their head and say "WOW". they just dont believe it until they drive it. i just smile and laugh every time.

At the small end of Tige's lineup is the 20V. I was suprised last fall when I took one out for a test ride. The lake was nothing but rollers on wind born chop and the 20V was able to handle it no problem as long as you are sane and don't attempt high speed in rough water. Compared to the boat we had at the time the little 20V handled great and did not beat us to death. Base on the 20V in my area was mid to high 30's last fall but it adds up quickly when you pile on the options.
