Follow up on this trip... and offer stands for next year!

Just to finally follow up on how this all worked out... I posted the trip at work and somebody steped up and gathered a group and a good time was had. In the event that I dont gather a group for next year I will invite most of them back for next year...

So I thought I would throw the offer out again and a little earlier this time since some people expressed an interest. Singles, couples or a whole group if you can pull it off let me know and we can work it out. Week will be on the first week of June again.

I'm glad you got the boat sub-leased this summer. Not to be jerk, but I would guess that the operating agreement for the entity that owns your houseboat bars owners from renting out their weeks, even if they "captain" the voyage. Speaking of "captaining", do you have a license to carry passengers for hire?

As long as the trip goes well and no one complains, no problems, but if the trip does not go well, my guess is that the **** would hit the fan in a big way. Hopefully you carry insurance for this kind of stuff. I know my boating policy has no coverage whatsoever if I charge people to boat with me. The only way I can get that kind of coverage is to qualify and get licensed to carry passengers for hire in the jurisdiction the vessel will be traveling. It is a commercial policy and costs big $$$.
