All charges dropped and the Warrant is no longer out.

Don't worry I'm legal to hang with now. I found out yesterday that a warrant had been issued. My sister is a public defender and called me yesterday to let me know that a warrant had been issued for my arrest. I did not know that it was this easy to be a criminal. A couple weeks ago a local city cop had nothing better to do that day than follow me for about twenty minutes trying to find me doing something he could site me for. I knew he was there and was driving on my best behavior. Then the lights came on and I was wondering what the heck. He asks for my license, reg and insurance and I quiz him as to why and he states that my plate is not registered to my new truck. I proceed to give him my registration that shows that it is. He then proceeds to check and finds everything in order. Then he informs me that my vehicle should have never passed inspection and been registered because it does not have mud flaps. I wasn't aware of the law stating altered suspension or tires require flaps. He issued a fix it ticket, meaning I had to get some and pay a fine with in 14 days. Well life is crazy and I hadn't gotten it taken care of and yesterday was the end of my 14 days. Automatic warrant, the computer just kicks them out. The killer part of this was in addition to my sis calling me on the cell she left a message at home. The wife didn't know about the ticket and was all freaked out that I was going to jail. Well flaps are now on and I just appeared before the judge and he even waived the $135 fine. Man it's a good feeling not to be on the lamb anymore. Some of us just can't stay out of trouble. I don't think the that flaps that are per law do much good other than keep rocks from coming up and hitting the rocker panel. I will still use my rock tamers when towing.

You rednecks in your jacked up four wheel drives and just breaking everyone's windshields and care about nothing but yourselves.

Dude, that is a sweet truck! They were having some smokin deals just in February for new 2008 diesels. I almost went for it, but do not want to jeopardize any finances for other toys.

The Dodge have seats that have this obnoxious curve at the top of the seat that hits me right between the shoulder blades, so I have to say no to Dodge until they get that fixed. I am really not that tall sitting (skinny butt, all arms and legs), and am surprised that since you are fairly tall yourself, that you do not notice it.

Seems like the police need to find something better to do. What an @$$. I suppose giving you a friendly warning wasn't what they had in mind for public service.

              Glad you're legit again.

I think you need to put flaps on the Tige to match the truck

AZ has the same stupid law.

The other day I'm at a signal and next to me a CHP. I'm on the cell. He tells me to roll down the window which is tinted. I figure he is going to get me for something. So I roll down the window and he asks me the year of the chevy silverado truck and where I got the mirrors. I told him they were stock on 2007. He said great mirrors said he wanted some just like that and drove off.

It almost makes you want to pay a high school kid to follow him around making a viedo of every lane change he makes with out using his blinker...... almost
