Sacramento River this Saturday

Yea, everything was fixed. Thomas Marine Prop did an awesome job. It will end up costing about $1k but my buddy is paying for it. He actually hit sand we determinded upon looking at the bottom of the boat. He likes to drive to the side rather than driving in the middle of the river. Therefore, he wont drive again.

I fell off a bike once and I got back on and rode it again. I am not sure that one incident will stop me from riding the river. I live two miles from it and boate there all last season and never had an issue. I have more issues with the people there than the the river itself.

I agree. I have never had any issues hitting anything in the river. From what I have experienced anything floating down river you can see.

I would ride the sac river over any lake any day. I do understand being worried about the dangers, but I would say its no different than some of the dangers in a lake. It all depends on how careful you really are.

Da you should come out and jump on my boat sometime soon. The river really isnt bad at all. Some of the best riding. Though at this time of the year its smart to stay in the middle until the level goes up a bit.

Probably a little later in the year tigeblue. At this time, it is way too cold for me since I do not own a drysuit and really want to make sure my boat is running and everyone can board behind it. As you know, that is important to us all. Maybe after the reunion would be best for now. That would mean after the excitement of my boat also.

I am not forcing the issue and appreciate your concerns but it is not that cold in the river. Water temp was about 60 and I did not have a suit and boarded three times. Just an FYI...

60???? That was all the temp is???? It's that cold in Folsom Lake right now and I have a spring suit that I could use... Hum... Now you have me thinking. Thanks Band....
