    Wetsounds?

My boat has a set of Pro 60's. I'm wanting to add a Pro 485. I know the current amp i have is not enough. If i was gonna go with a Kicker amp. which one would I need to go with?

    I'd say the ZX650.4:

    120Wx4 @ 4ohm on chnl 1 & 2 for the Pro60's
    325Wx2 @ 4ohm bridged on 3/4 for the Pro485

You may need to step up the power and ground, if it was a factory install, that Amp probably has 8ga run to it.

I am running the 650.4 kicker for my MB8s and the 60s (and 700.4 for interiors and sub) .... maybe move this thread to stereo so Phil and company will help faster etc....

I'm not sure on what I got. I know it wasnt a factory install. H20 told me it was cheaper just for them to do it...

IMO you should get a Arc audio amp. 2300Se would do you just right.

            pro 60s

Just curious if you were happy with the pro 60s.........we have bazooka's on our boat right now (thrown in when we purchased it) but we want a little more volume.......we're replacing them with the pro 60s
If you're lucky enough to live on the lake, you're lucky enough.

Agreed it will be a big difference going to the 60s or if you want more go 80s
You will love all of them!

I run the kicker 700.5 to the in boat speaks and sub (4 X 70w + 1X 200w all at 4 ohms) and a 650.4 (120 X 4 @ 4 ohms)to the tower speakers, a pair of pro 60's and pro 80's. thats with the ws-420 as well. Which is worth every penny.

                    OKTIGE-

CHP is pointing you to the proper KICKER amp. Sorry Mike, but I have to correct you a little bit.

Use the ZX650.4 amp You will use half of the amplifer, (say for example amp 1) in stereo mode, and the other half, (amp 2) in bridge mode. As a result thepower output will be this:
                    120Wx2@ 4ohm on amp 1 for the Pro60's
                    325Wx1 @ 4ohm bridged on amp2 for the Pro485

The amp is set up for 4 gage wiring, so please take the opportunity to run 4 gage wire, (both power and ground) to the amp.

Andy's guys at H2O can help with this, and if they have any questions, they can certainly call me. I am by their shop occasionally, so we could even hook up if you were in town to do the deal...
                    It's not an optical illusion.
                    It just looks like one.....
