    No pix at the moment

The water was bat so didn't really ride much.

The wake is solid but I knew what the wake would be like because I already had the sacs just not an auto system.

Is it me or does SPBFAN look entirely too enthusiastic about drilling holes in your boat?

I plan to use the same system. Let me know any other things that you like or dislike.
        It came with instructions???

The system is solid but I did notice that the water did drain on it's own but I just closed the shutoff valve at the manifold that Andrew put in and everything was fine

So, the pumps do not hold the water in?

Does it keep water from going in the bags?

All systems using reversible pumps do this to some extent. You could probably avoid that a bit by bringing your fill/drain lines up a bit higher in the boat between the bag and the pump. That would take a bit of pressure off the impeller when you're riding.

That is important. I thought that the Jabsco pumps were supposed to not be able to turn passively, so water should not leak out. You may want to install check valves. So the system is not fully 'automated' if you need to manually shut off the valve.

That means that you also had to turn the valve back on in order to empty.

Oops, you can't install check valves because you empty through the same hose that you fill with.

My boat is supposed to be done with the install in the next couple days or so... I cant wait to see how it turns out.....

I'm not concerned it takes a hole 4 sec to flip the valve

Only about 1/6 of the bag emptied after I rode 10-15 min

How long did it take to fill the bags when in the lake. Did you say your bags are around 500bls?

Did you finish building the shelf?

One variation of this system that I've seen, is to use a single check-valve on the intake, and then "T" a drain line in between the main c/v and the pump, and "T" it into the vent. When the pump is in reverse to drain the check-valve diverts the flow out the "vent" thru-hull. Because the hose is routed up higher then the sac, water will not self drain while riding.

                        About 4 min or so....

Still working on ideas for the shelf

With the baby due any day now I have not had much time to really think about it.

I know someone on the site did it.... But I have no idea where the post is

I really like that Idea. Although, I think we would have to put another check-valve between the 'T' and the vent or the pump would suck air through the vent hole (path of least resistance). We also would need another 'T' to connect to the normal vent hole, or drill another hole.

I bet so. I cant remember exactly what the diagram included, but remember seeing it on WW. Someone either had the same issue, or anticipated it.

No need to drill another hole, just "T" into the existing vent line as most of us have done with the typical aerator pump ballast setups.
