Guys thanks for your help on the electrical.

Tall, We went back and forth on the Mushroom 2" pick up, three individual pickups, and this scoop pick up. When talking to Jabsco they felt the scoop in reverse was the best idea and would be sufficient for filling. We have not had the boat in the lake yet to test it and it may pick up water while on the go we do not know that answer just yet.

One thing we do know is that the garden hose on full blast was not sufficient to feed the pump 100%. And we pumped the bag half full in 2.5 minutes. The draining took about two minutes.

The other reason I like the scoop idea is there is some protection to not pick up small sticks and rocks from the lake. If you do and they get through the strainer they will go through the pump with out to much damage. That was one of the things Jabsco liked about the idea also.

With the location of where we put the manifold I think our longest run of hose is from the manifold to the front pump and it maybe 10' at the most. Yes the hose can in some way kink easy. Cost started to become a factor. It was $145.00 for the hose or $77.00 for the hose. Even if we did use the braided hose we are not guaranteed that the hose would not kink. The system is laid out in a way that most everything has a direct shot anyways.

In the future if the hose does become kinked it will be very easy to change out the hose now that we have it laid out.

I hope this helps to answer some of the questions. We can build a very bullet proof systems but then we have to weigh the cost and rewards. Master-Craft has a very nice system. Add $4000.00 to the price of the boat because of it though. We will see how this goes and I think it will work out just fine in the long run. We need to get the switches going and get the boat on the lake for a test run. Then we will really know.

How much hose did you use and what size. You could have purchased 50 feet of the hose I used for $50. I think it should be fine though

      Andrew
I need to place an order with you for an item but the catalog shows an incorrect part number. I will shoot you an email tonight when I have all the correct details
      Let it be!!!

I think the reverse sccop is a good idea. Many people have done that mainly as some sort of strainer for the incoming water. Can you show some pics of where the pumps are mounted?

One of the pictures is where the lines go directly into the pumps. The other is the pump sitting directly behind the cup holders and speakers at the rear of the boat in the little nook off and away from the main part of the storage but a straight shot into the manifold. All the loose wiring you are seeing was not left that way. We were still in the set up faze when the pictures were taken, All of that was tied back and finished off neat and clean when we were done.

same location on the left pump

The front pump is in the storage area under the steering wheel all the way up against the bow wall separating the bow storage and the driver storage. We ran the hose on the gas tank and came up right next the air vent.

Did you get the pumps wired correct?

When are you testing on the lake?

i'm not sure about the hose issue. The hose I used will not kink and its cheap. that being said I have no idea where to get it, as rival sold it to me.

Let me see if I can find a pic.
