Boat Shipping

Has anyone shipped a boat before? If so who did you get to ship it?

What r you trying to ship, and how far? It will be based on mileage. For a single item, you'll prob. get stuck using a hot shot, so your price will probably be higher.

My Aunt owns an auto shipping business, you could call her and see if she can do it for you (I honestly don't know). Advance Auto Transport (800) 962-2663 and ask for Rae Ann, tell her Timmy referred you. Her business is based out of Toledo, OH but goes from anywhere to anywhere...

I thought about having mine shipped but ended up towning it myself the 2100 miles. Its much cheaper than having it shipped. I cost me $500 at the begining of summer last year, and the shipping wanted 2K. So if you have the time, do it yourself

Yeah if the boat is bought. I will probably trailer it up their my self.. just the thought of 9 miles to the gallon is scary....

my best guest is about 1.50/mile put with gas prices going crazy it could have gone up.

Earlier this year I spent a little time looking at the site below (but never utilized). With some research you can probably get some rough estimates.

I went from vegas to south carolina, when gas prices were all a lil above $3 a gallon. It wasnt too bad
