    Juiceman,

Unfortunaly, you cannot have your boat on the lake!

We all have to be bank maggots.

There are lots of places to stay as far as motels goes. The lake is only about 2 or 3 miles from Portland International Airport (PDX)the landing path is directly over the lake so the planes are REALLY low at that point. So accomodations of any sort are plenty.

Let me know if you want t bring your boat. There are a half of dozen lakes within 2 hours of Portland; Hagg lake, Merwin, Yale, Detroit. The Willamette river runs thru Portland and there's always the Columbia river a stones throw from Blue Lake. Both rivers you would want so good directions/info as far as sand bars, rocks and launching tips. I can help with that if needed.

I live about 25 miles west of Portland so I'm very famililar with the area. You can also check out www.boatescape.com

Just let me know how I can help,
    Mark

Thanks for the info. Im not gonna take my boat after all. I just wanna hold up my sign and support my favorite riders there so as long as I know where I can get a place close to the event like I mean CLOSEST that would be great.

        Juice,
There are plenty of places to stay, but what are you looking for? All the major hotels surround PDX, but there is much more life downtown Portland which is not far from Fairview. I live and die by "points", so if I were you I stay at the Embassy Suites PDX..............but I'm a point whore.....

Mark, are you going to the Pro-am?
