Need help with new 22ve decision

I got a call from our local Tige dealer tonight that they are going out of business and need to get rid of as many boats as possible by the end of the month or they will be going to a new dealership where the prices will go up.

So here is my question and before you answer keep in mind that the economy is still strong here in the Seattle area.

    2008 22ve Black, white and moto-green
    Tige speed set
    340 hp motor
    Heater
    Extreme trailer
    4 interior wetsounds speakers
    Cover
    2 Polk bullet tower speakers
    billet tower mirror
    $58k

So should I go for it? I have seen these cheaper in other parts of the country but around here you have Tige, Mastercraft, Nautique, Supreme,Centurion,Moomba,Supra and Malibu all within 30 miles of each other.

    Opinions please.

I am not sure where you are, but I got my RZ2 for around the same amount last year, perhaps the prices went up for the 2008 boats.

Another question you need to ask is who is going to provide your service once the dealer goes out of business. The reason why I bought my second Tige was the customer service.

I always thought competition made prices go down. I think what keeps prices up in your neighborhood is the dealer has to make a mint just to keep his house payment under control.

That deal sounds respectable, but not smokin'.

I would go in with money ready and wheel just a little more.

It seems that EKS got a smokin' deal on his RZ2.
      Be excellent to one another.

I got my '07 RZ2 for a great price but it was less than that amount. IMO, you should wait.

Not to mention that the local Tige dealer here has some more 2007 RZ2's that they need to sell. One is graphite gray hull, white sides with graphite where the Tige sticker is. That was is also lower than that amount also.

I almost forgot. I have a 2006 24Ve for sale at $54,900 with the extended warranty.

I did, the dealership was switching from selling Tiges to selling MUs and they were trying to sell all Tiges cheaper before they would have to give the not sold Tiges to the new Tige dealership.

Tall said it right, it is a good deal but not a smokin' one.

I would not rule out a road trip to save some $$$$$$ Tell me more about what they have and prices too. I could probably have it shipped for less than 2G's

You shoud give Stayton Motor Sports a call and check on there price. I think the might still have some 07's left??? There web site is www.staytonmotorsports.com

They are just outside of Salem Oregon, so you could drive it from Seattle

                    I think they have 2-3 RZ2's.

                    One with graphite
One with yellow (ugly also... but beauty is in the eye of the beholder)
One that is red and black....

Better yet, call Warren or Chris at Capital Water Sports 916-636-0000 and they should tell you what they have available. But I know they are going for $53k. In that ballpark and I am sure you can swing a deal with them if you talk with them.

                      All them should also have

                      bimini
                      stainless steel
                      SpeedSet
                      340 HP engines

That I am sure of. And no, I don't work for them also.... But they are assigned to sell my 24Ve also. Tell them that David Bell said to call.. Might be surprised to be asked "did David tell you how much he paid for his?"... he he he

I have been looking at Stayton motorsports boats on boatrader but honestly not big on the colors they have and I dont really care for the Samson tower's (we have one on our Maxum)

If you like a black and blue RZ2, You can pick up an 07' RZ2 from H20 watersports in Stillwater, OK for lowwwww 50's. They've been sitting on it for a while and it is gorgeous. Actually it's on boat trader as well. http://www.boattrader.com/listing/20...E-RZ2-89020828

I will give them a call tomorrow. Not so sure I want a RZ, I think with the picklefork you either love it or hate it. I will also want heat in my boat. Do you think Capital would build me something for a good price? I hear you can get a Tige built in 3 weeks right now.
