Had a meeting with the dealer yesterday. Things look very positive. I honestly feel they are on board to help me out whatever happens. It was really reasuring. The VP who has been very patient, I have complete confidence in. I am going to refrain from this post for a while until all said in done or unless something earth shattering happens. I will say tige, and WWS are being very proffesional about this. I really appreciate it.2016 Tige Z3, 2014 Tige Z3

All I can say right now is that even though nothing really has been hashed out yet, I did not realize how much this was bothering me. Just to have everyone talking and on the same page is like a huge wait lifted off of my shoulders.
I sold some business today I have been working on for two years and was pretty pumped about it especially since it was a key account for our company, but when I was told that negotiations started on the boat I was even more pumped about hearing that. It was a good day.2016 Tige Z3, 2014 Tige Z3

Ok Good news. It appears everything is hashed out and the boat is ready to go to Texas. Just need to confirm a time with Tige that works best for both of us.
Tige has been extremely good to work with on this. Grade A organization. I have never seen a company support there product like they do. It is great to see. Harvey has also been great. At this stage of the game I am really excited to get this done and over with.
WWS has also stepped up to the plate to really help finish this off. Hats off to Duncan Jessiman for coming through.2016 Tige Z3, 2014 Tige Z3

Glad to hear things are moving toward a (hopefully) happy resolution!

Thanks guys. Trust me there was times I just about flew off the handle. There was one week I could not get a hold of the dealer and they would not phone me back after they told me they would. Well 4 days in (Thursday) still nothing I was driving home to pick up the boat to do something that I would likely regret later. Then Harvey phoned me at 5:30 and got me back on track.
I felt that the dealer was putting it off cause it really was not affecting them and there is no skin off there back on how soon it gets done. So I was going to drive the boat in and park it across there entrance so no one could enter the store. This way they would have been feeling the pain if there were no customers coming into the store. Was going to keep it there until we came to a resolution. I was Peed off that way. Two years of suppression was about to let go on them. I was especially peed off when I found out that they had already been paid off for the warranty work to be done for the boat right from the get go and they have been making me sit on this for so long. All they needed to do was to return the money and Tige would take care of it. Pretty simple solution I thought. Not sure what WWS was holding out for. But in the end, they came through, Harvey assured me that they were not going to leave me hanging and they were on my side.
PS. Probably would not have actually blocked traffic to the store but at the time I was so pissed that I felt like it.2016 Tige Z3, 2014 Tige Z3

So far with my dealings with tige they have been first class. I have no doubt that it will get fixed. I was supposed to bring the boat down next week, but works busy right now so maybe in another week or two.2016 Tige Z3, 2014 Tige Z3

Hey L/E,
I have read the entire post and it is clearly messed up! You said Tige is taking the boat back at the end of August? Just to be safe I would have Tige put it in writting for the extended coverage before trailering it down to Texas. I had posted here with problems as well back in February regarding gelcoat/rubrail issues on a new 2008 22ve and got the usual feedback like you have. The first post was censored and removed after about 5-6 hours. The second post went wild with feedback and Tige did get involved. The general manager finally called and said he would send out a rep and they were going to take care of everything in the post. I was impressed the GM called and so I asked the moderator to remove my second post in response to Tige getting involved. I even responded with a third posting on March 11, 2009 "Tige Steps up on Warranty - Thanks".
The rep arrived over an hour late to our meeting. He arrived in a taxi and made it very clear he did not have the time because his taxi fair was running. He was rude to my wife and worst of all this was 'Ben' the owner's Son. We could not believe the treatment from Tige's rep and afterwards we felt we had purchased the wrong boat. Ben took pictures with his cell phone and said they would get back to us. After the meeting I received a call back from the GM and they were not going to cover my gelcoat or rubrail issues and referred me back to the dealer. Originally the dealer, Tige Watersports in California, said they would take care of everything but changed their position as well.
On July 22, 2009, we won judgement against the dealer to have my gelcoat fixed along with multiple other items. Tige Watersports has not appealed and has made no attempt to pay the judgement. I have not posted pictures on the items involved in the recent judgement, but if the dealer does not pay the judgement and further continues to make a new Tige owner suffer, I will post everything listed in the judgement on this forum. L/E it took me over a year but when the judge said to the dealer "It appears your customer purchased a highend boat and you should have taken care of him", it was an awsome feeling! You should get everything in writting/email just to be safe...
I have asked this before but need to know how or where to post pictures?
