I once knew a guy who weighed 400 pounds. (his high school nickname was 308, because that was his weight back then). Health problems forced him into a nursing home. Once in the nursing home, he was losing weight at an unbelievable rate. All that happened was he ate 3 regular sized meals per day. It takes a huge number of calories just to maintain 400 pounds. When he was just getting a regular amount of calories...his weight plummeted about 15 pounds per month.

I'll bite and say something some people might find insensitive here: When I see a 300 pound person who tells me they do not eat very much, I know they are lying. They may not realize it, but put a calorie counter on that person, they are taking in a lot. It is physiologically impossible to survive at 300 pounds while only eating a limited number of calories.
    Be excellent to one another.

I am just using protein powder that I bought from costco. I made a pullup bar from a pipe I bought from Home Depot. I do need to get more Dumbbells, I only have one set and I am quickly needing more weight.

This morning was the second time doing the Kempo X, at least I felt a little more coordinated this go around.

Does the p90X give as much result as they show on TV or it is just a hype to buy their product?

            P90X

            EKS,

It works. I'm just starting my 3rd phase (week 9) and I've gone from 198# to 181#. I'm 6' and could carry/hide that tire under my clothing but I sure do like the way things are turning out! I haven't been hardcore on the diet items, I did cut 90% of sugar out, did away with pop and stopped all fast food (with maybe 2 exceptions in the last 60 days). I've done everything in moderation with the exception of not missing any workouts in the first 2 phases. I've used the resistance bands and the in home cardio. We just got back from Mexico and suprisingly I only gained 1 pound. I ate really well down there but polished off that first bucket of beer everyday by noon.....I was on vacation after all!! My metobolism is running hardcore for a 41 year old guy and sustained me through the trip. Can't wait to see what the last 30 days brings! ALso it'll be the first boating year in quite some time I'll be comfortable struting around without a shirt!

Your shape is all a matter of perspective, as long as you don't try to fit yourself into a square hole, you'll be ok

I travel a lot for my job and was looking for something that would be good for working out because most hotels gyms are a joke and I found this http://www.fitnessanywhere.com/ and it kicked my ***. I bought the force package and I can honestly say it was the most difficult fitness workout I have done. It is by far the best core workout I have found bar none as every exercise has a core component. The workout is 30 minutes long and you will be exhuasted. If you are intereted in buying it google "TRX ssuspension and affiliate code" to find a discount.
I am starting the P90x in the middle of June because I know some people that have done it and they say good things about it.
