I grew up in Ankeny and spent a lot of time on saylorville in the summer skiing and hanging out on the go fast boats down by the dam. now I share a place on Panorama with my family and rarely if ever get to any other lakes.
Yeah it would be nice to be on a private lake...We built a house last year for the sole reason to be close to the lake.
