The reason Why I ask is that I am about to install my ballast and I am wondering if I should put it down to do it inside of the garage.
To work on the boat in the garage can you put the tower up inside the garage? I wouldn't want to work on the boat with the tower down and in the way. If it will fit with the tower back up then I would put it in the garage. Then it is protected if weather comes or you don't finish as quickly as planned. The weather can change quickly in Utah as you know. It was raining in Eagle Mountain this morning as I did my job visit. Not much, but enough to wet things down and that would make crawling around the inside of your boat uncomfortable. When is the install starting as weather report doesn't look good for the next several days?
My dad always said "Stupid Hurts". He's yet to be proven wrong, but for some reason I keep trying.
When down the tower uprights lay across the cabin and make access to the cabin area very difficult. If you need frequent access underneath the seats, I would leave the tower up.
