Man, this is just what I'm looking for. I just picked up a blue 2100V and need to put a tower on it. All measurements worked except the rear width. I need about another 1 1/2 inch.

I would imagine that the front to back dimension would put the rear feet so far back on your boat that you would have a hard time getting in and out from the side at the dock. You should double check that. The Ve has a long sloping windshield that really puts the rear mount a long ways from the front. I would imagine that on a 21 Ft boat it would be very difficult.
        Be excellent to one another.

OK, we made it back, and the tower is AWESOME. It beat my expectations. It looks fantastic, it is super sturdy, and the fold down design is incredible. I can't wait to get it on the water. If it works as well on the water, there is no question I am going to have to get my next Tige from a dealer that uses Samson. The OEM tower was nice, but compared to the samson, the old tower was a PITA to take up and down. One person can do the samson in a minute. My 12 yr old son can do it. And with the fully swiveling speakers with quick disconnect, and the lights, its great.

The other issue is the bimini. I told scott @ samson, let me have a new one from you, anything has got to better than the Tige. We have all complained about the Tige bimini. We only live 9 miles from the lake, so we had just left it up so we didn't have to take it up and down. The samson bimini is bigger, more shade, and super easy. And NO BOLTS to drop in the water.

Here is a picture from on the way home, stopping to eat in Redding:

Here are the lights and speakers, spun around to show you can point them any direction and lock them in.

My 12yr old son getting trained by Gary from samson.

          One more.

Just my opinion, Tige should be using these towers.

Samson is the premier tower and puts the Tige towers to shame.

I noticed on their new site they do not have their clothing line. Be sure and see if they'll throw in a couple of shirts or hats. Good stuff. They also have jackets & hoodies ( I have them all).

Make sure the foward tower lights are pointing down when the bimini is folded up because if someone happens to hit the tower light switch during the day and you don't notice they will burn a hole in the cover. It happened on our 22V and we had to replace our cover. Just a word to the wise.

Sounds like a bummer. We have a ritual where we make sure all switches are off before getting out of boat.

This happened while we were in the boat and didn't realize the switch was on.
Someone accidentaly hit the switch. Those lights get burnin hot real fast and they are right next to the cover when they are in the forward position

oh, bummer. I don't think we are ever in the boat, with the bimini up. But in vancouver, I can imagine you go out sometimes when it gets cold, and want the sun.

This is the one time I can say ( in a good way)

                        TOLD YA SO

Glad your happy with the New tower, I have been a big supporter of Samson as it was one of the deciding factors for me to even get a Tige... I am just glad my dealer is one of hand full that offers the UPGRADE.

Tige needs to listen to us more, if they listen they will have a perfect boat, but that is for another thread...

                        Enjoy.

I wish I knew about it when I got my boat. But when I bought my boat, I never thought I would be taking the tower up and down.

Well, first thing we did when we got home was round up the kids and get them cleaning the boat before dark. After that we drove it down to the warehouse and it took only 15 minutes to get it in and get out of there. And that was because I had to move some motorcycles, teach my oldest daughter how the tower works, show 2 other kids how to do the wheel dollie jacks....

We all agreed, now that we know the system we can have the boat put away after being out on the lake between 5-10 minutes tops. The old tower and bimini would take 10-15. So in the words of Hannibal of the A-Team, "I love it when a plan comes together".

Looking forward to a great summer now.

No joke, I talked my 17 yr old daughter through the tower, then let her do it by herself. The bimini and speakers were already stowed. It took her less than 50 seconds to lower tower her first time.
