Exactly why I didn't purchase the stereo system from my friend. The product that he is selling is made in China. There is more of a reason but that should cover enough for everyone to understand.

I'd never buy a powder coated tower or uprights, now matter how good they look. It's paint after all and that means there will be scratches and fading. The polished look just wears better in this particular application.

Agreed 1000%... Unfortunately, the GF likes the powdercoating. Not to mention every single person that I talk to also says to keep the powdercoating on. So, it is staying on....
