The reunion for my part of the woods is July 19 & 20. I'll do it then if you'ld like.

That was one of the mistakes I make on my first Tige. I just assumed the boat would be in perfect condition, since it is a new boat, that I did not look everywhere.

On my RZ2 I took my sweet time, almost one hour, going over every inch of the boat, and needless to say I found a few issues that I would have missed if it was a fast look around.

Showed the dealer the issues and had them fix it when I brought it back for the 20 hour service as well.

What were some of the issues? So I know what to look for on my walk through

That is exactly what I did on my first Tige also. I guess we can learn new tricks when we get older. And wiser

You are nice to offer, thanks.

Unfortunately I'll be in Canada that weekend on a family yearly vacation. Wife's plan one family trip a year, my is always to Lake Powell

              1) Stickers no properly place or torn
              2) Scuff marks on the gelcoat that needed to be buffed out
              3) Seats have torn or small pin size holes
              4) Uprights have chips in the powdercoat
              5) Gelcoat issues by tower or center activity center or trailer tiedowns
              6) Lights work on the trailer
              7) If you have a Ford vehicle, you will need to purchase another relay for the boat. Long story on this but the dealer was the best. Ford sucked
              8) Lights all work on the boat

That is a few things off the top of my head.

I found a few scratches where the hull meets the top part.
Hot water shower had a crack on the nozzle.
The rubber on the swim platform was coming off.
Carpet on the inside walls was not glued properly.

A bunch of little things, but when you could expend time and money to fix on your own.

Da's list is better than my. But the important part is that you look everywhere, ask questions on how it works, and if possible have them show it how it works.

If the demonstration is not possible, since you are not in the water to test, make sure your first time out you go over every single button and functionality, if you find any issues contact your dealer immediately to let them know that the problem should be under the warranty.

I know, I could be better than time at the lake with your family.

But she likes to travel and see other places. I would be perfectly happy expending a month at Lake Powell.

We should start a thread that list all the things we should look when buying a new or used boat.

I wish I had that list on my first boat.

My spelling error also.. damn figures type faster than my brain thinks.

We have been together for nearly 4 years and have known each other for 7. Out of the 4 years, we have been living together for 2.5 years. So there is a lot of time invested in this relationship. Not to mention all my issues that I have and children from a previous marriage. We both have sacraficed a lot to be together and I think it's worth it.

They were nice enough when I pointed out some of the "not so clean spots" that they gave me a new detailed cleaning when I took my boat for its 20 hours service.

How nice of them EKSILVA I bought my boat at the same place you bought yours and all they did for me was give me a bottle of Ducky cleaner to scrub the seats down. There was all kinds of mold growing under the seats and all around in the boat when they delivered it to me.
