    Is this mirror any good??

I have a large mirror for my boat, that slips over the windshield, but saw this one on ebay, and was wondering if I should swap mine out.

If I do go with this one, do you guys take the mirrors off while towing the boat to and from the lake, or do they stay on the tower 100% of the time?

    thanks

I would buy that for 85 bones...

You can leave that mirror on. It shouldn't be a problem IMO

i prefer the tower mounted mirrors, i find the ones attached to teh windshield vibrates a lot more and makes it hard to see.

we keep keep our mirror on 100% of the time, if we need better vision we can just twist it to see better.

I bought the same one last season. Nice aluminum piece, but the mirror is a little on the cheap side-all plastic housing. It's worth the money.

I had that exact mirror on my 2003 SAN and thought it was a great mirror. Can't beat it for $85.

go with the tower mount and leave it on all time....just check the mount every so often to make sure still tight.

I bought a very similar arm from www.diywake.com, and I paid more than your example. Plus, they offer money back if you don't like it and didn't install it. What have ya got to lose?

Tower Mount > Windshield Mount. Looks like a heck of a deal for a nice billet piece like that.
